Life update!

Hello lovelies, hope you are all well?

As you may have noticed I have only been blogging twice a week max because I have been so busy at university both with work and rushing around going places!

I thought it might be easier if I blog twice a week but vlog throughout the week and upload it onto my youtube account and put it on here too…

So if you wish to know what I am up to during the week when I am not sitting down blogging then you are more than welcome to watch videos of me rushing around London with a camera 🙂

Hopefully I shall update you very soon!

September Favourites!

P1010495Hello lovelies, it’s the end of the month which can only mean one thing: I sit and tell you all of the products I have been using and loving this month and we compare it to my predictions at the beginning of the month!

First of all, as predicted, I used both my Rimmel ‘Wake me up’ foundation and my Rimmel ‘Stay matte dual action’ concealer to both conceal the dark circles and bruises of my fresher’s week late nights and mishaps and to even my skin tone. God only knows what I would have looked like without these two products!

Also as predicted, my planner came in handy! I had to keep on top of what I was doing when and (although I was still, for the most part, quite clueless, forgetful and dependent on my flat rep) I kept this in my bag or on my desk to refer back to and note down what books I needed to read for when and where I had to be every night!

I incorrectly predicted that I would be loving my black suede wedges from New Look this week BUT I wore heels once (when we went out to a racecourse) and after that my feet were too sore and cut up  to even consider wedges. I found myself bandaging up my feet and wearing flats to all other events which probably isn’t as on trend as I’d have liked but my feet couldn’t take much more!

I actually didn’t use my Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer either; instead I used my Clinique ‘chubbystick’ in the colour ‘Chunky Cherry’ because it was easier to apply and more moisturising to my lips which (probably due to both alcohol consumption and dehydration) were very dry and sore this week!

My September favourites not predicted but well used and well-loved include: Nina Ricci perfume which I wore every single night out, my Prince London watch which helped me stay on track and on time, my Herstyler Baby Curl curling wand which I used most nights to get some volume in my hair and last but not least, Benefit’s ‘They’re Real’ mascara which I picked up samples from during Fresher’s fair and instantly loved!

It’s been a good month for make up favourites!

Quick life and London update!

Hello my lovelies,

Sorry for the lack of posts, if you read regularly you’ll know that I have moved to London for university so this is my fresher’s week!

I officially LOVE it here so much; my flatmates are the nicest people ever, in fact last night they carried me home and tucked me up in bed because I had drank too much- how nice is that?

The university is good, freshers is going good, my flat is really big and my room is really nice (I’ll try to post some pictures as soon as I get a chance!)

I shall try and post something of standard this weekend.

Love you all,

September predictions!

Hey guys, it is the beginning of a new month and therefore time for me to make my predictions as to what products I expect to be using a lot for the next month! I will come to reflect at the end of this month, of course, with my September favourites so we can see how right I may be!

This month I am spending the first two weeks at home, spending time with my loved ones and packing for university as I shall be moving there mid month! (London baby!)

Image

First of all, I expect to be using my ‘Wake me up’ foundation by Rimmell because its so easy to apply and I know that I won’t really have time this month to mess about and be experimental with make up so, as my staple foundation, I doubt I shall use much else other than this product!

Secondly, I expect to use my Rimmell ‘Stay Matte’ dual action concealer because of freshers week at university! I will probably take time to adjust to my new room and flat before being able to sleep easily and what with all the late nights of events and then early mornings to make briefings and lectures, this will probably be used, and appreciated, a lot!

My ‘apocalyptic’ lip lacquer. (This is turning into a right Rimmell haul!) I really want a bright and colourful outgoing look for meeting new people during freshers so this will probably be used a lot. Its also so long-lasting that I probably won’t trust anything else to stay on my lips what with all the drinking I’ll be doing! (wink wink)

My black New Look wedges! I am a mouse at 5”3 and will definitely be wearing these on my nights out this month at university so this is a strong and confident September prediction!

A non make-up product but a definite September product prediction: my diary/planner. I have the busiest month ahead ever and need to stay organised!

I imagine that I’ll be using a lot more than those predictions but we shall see in a month’s time when I put up my September favourites!

Don’t forget to pack your clothes! A good way of storing them all (because of your tiny uni wardrobe) is to only hang what will crease and fold the rest of your clothes and put them in a pretty storage box under your bed!

Don’t forget to check with the university what documents you will need to take in order for them to enroll and ID you e.g. passports, national insurance details, your confirmation letter and grade certificates.

I hope this is helpful in some way, feel free to question in the comments below or add anything else I may have forgotten!
